Former First Lady Laura Bush Has Unexpected Words for Melania Trump

The left has been extremely cruel to First Lady Melania Trump ever since Donald Trump announced that he would be running for President of the United States. You would think that because she leans more towards the liberal side of the politics spectrum and because she is an immigrant, the left would love her, but because she is married to President Trump, no such luck. The left is constantly making fun of her, going so far as to ridicule her accent.

Remember back to the whole Chelsea Handler debacle.

Fox News had reported at the time:

Chelsea Handler took a swipe at Melania Trump saying she wouldn’t interview the First Lady because “she can barely speak English.”

Perhaps the comedian, who does not hold a college degree, should do her research first. The First Lady speaks at least five languages, including English, French, Italian, German, and Slovene.’

As far as we can tell, Handler speaks but one.

All the comedian did was prove that she was a mean-spirited lefty and a hypocrite for making fun of a foreigner’s accent.

Mrs. Trump got some much needed support on Wednesday, however, and came from someone who has been in the same place as Melania in the past, unlike Handler.

The Daily Caller reported that during an interview with Fox Business, former First Lady Laura Bush had a few words to say to Melania.

“Mrs. Bush, You remain one of the most popular and loved first ladies of all time,” Bartiromo stated.

“All right!” former president George W. Bush responded.

“And you have your own incredible leadership style. Do you want to pass on any words of advice to our current first lady Melania Trump?” Bartiromo questioned.

“Well, no, I wouldn’t give her advice, but I have met Melania–she invited me to tea at White House. She’s a beautiful woman, and very, very lovely.”

“I think she will do really very well,” Laura Bush finished.

You can watch the full interview below:

Laura Bush has always been outspoken, and Americans have always loved that about her. It’s great to see her giving the current First Lady some words of encouragement. While the Bush family isnt’ a huge fan of President Trump, they haven’t lost their compassion. It would be nice if the mainstream media took a hint from the former First Family.

If you’re wondering what Mrs. Trump has been doing lately, look no further.

From ABC News:

First lady Melania Trump might be one of the few not overly awed by a marble-bedecked and gold-plated Gilded Age mansion that she and her Japanese counterpart toured Wednesday.

While President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe golfed at the president’s nearby country club, their wives visited Whitehall, the 75-room, 100,000-square-foot (9,290-square meter) waterside retreat that oil and railroad tycoon Henry Flagler built as a wedding present for his third wife, Mary Lily Kenan Flagler. The Flaglers wintered there beginning in 1902, and it is now the centerpiece of the Flagler Museum.

Melanie Trump and Akie Abe made their arrival in a motorcade coming from Mar-a-Lago, President Trump’s personal gold-plated mansion which is located 3 miles away. They were greeted by William Matthews, Flagler’s own great grandson, as well as museum Executive Director Erin Manning. Manning and Matthews led Melania and Akie on a tour of the house. Historians estimate today’s cost to build the home at roughly $4 million.

It looks like Mrs. Trump is doing a great job as First Lady.
